As we go into this month of gratitude, I am incredibly thankful for so many things in my life like my family, friends and all the “big” things that almost everyone in grateful for! (As I write this on this on the eve the elections tomorrow, I am grateful that I live in a country where I can get to vote but at this moment in time, I am really excited that all the political ads and signs will be gone by the end of the week. Living on the border between Nebraska and Iowa were are so “blessed” with the ads from both states)
I am truly grateful for photographs! I grew hope in a family that was always sharing photos and I have been taking my own photos for probably almost 30 years. I am very blessed that my mother created photo albums and scrapbooks to chronicle the first 10 years of my life and at about 4th or 5th grade I started doing them on my own. Looking back on them now my biggest regret is that I thought it was so cool to cut my pictures into odd shapes. Currently, I am in the process of scanning the 20+ books that I have and converting them into digital books because many of them are falling apart and they will take up much less room.
Today, I am so THANKFUL, that I get to spend my days helping others with their photos. The Association of Personal Photo Organizers, has been a great support for merging my love for photography and organizing and allowing to see HOPE organizing in a whole new way. We take photos so that we can capture the moment and save the the memory and share it with others!
At this point, you might be wondering why there is no photos in this blog post and that is because I want this to be an ongoing sharing of photos on social media! I am giving away $50 in photo scanning at the end of November! I will she sharing photos daily that are important to me and I want to see your photos!
